Welcome Week

Registration

Welcome Week and FIRE Orientation are August 22-26. Who should attend Welcome Week and FIRE Orientation? All accepted and confirmed SEU Ohio college students who are beginning college in the fall can come to Welcome Week and FIRE Orientation.  

Students at SEU partner sites in the Great Lakes and Heartland states can also come to Welcome Week and Fire Orientation with their site leaders. Please check with your site director before registering. 

Note: New SEU Ohio students who cannot attend Welcome Week in person can request online FIRE Orientation in the registration form below.

Tentative Schedule

Friday 8/22

  • Move-in: 10 am to noon

  • Free time: afternoon and evening

Saturday 8/23

  • Day: Fun activities

  • Evening: Clippers baseball game 5 pm

Sunday 8/24

  • Church on Campus 10 am

  • Lunch on site

  • Games 

Monday 8/25 FIRE Orientation​

  • Morning Breakout Sessions 10-11:45 am

    • SEU Ohio Campus Orientation​

    • Advising for Partner Site Students

  • Lunch 11:45 am-12:30 pm​ at Oakwood

  • Campus Tour 12:30-1:15 pm

  • Afternoon Orientation to SEU Systems 1:30-3:30 pm

  • Luau Dinner (pool and volleyball) 6 pm

Tuesday 8/26 

  • Fun activities and Fire Athletics

  • First class: ENGL 1113 College Composition 5:30 pm 

  • Evening bonfire

Wednesday 8/27

  • First Chapel 9 am

  • Classes begin 10:15 am
