TOURISM AND HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT
The Bachelor of Science in Tourism and Hospitality Management helps students learn business and leadership skills for working in the growing tourism and hospitality industries. Students will explore global business, project management, leadership, followership, and cross-cultural communication while learning how to manage restaurants, hotels, resorts, and special events. Additionally, the degree focuses on integrating Christian faith into tourism and hospitality with a special emphasis on global religious tourism. Students in this degree may combine this program with a minor of their choice or study abroad experience to pursue the path God has put before them. The Divine Design component of the degree includes opportunities for experiential learning in the tourism and hospitality industries each semester, and students are required to complete a formal internship at the end of their program. The degree is suitable for graduates desiring to start or advance their careers in hotel, resort, and restaurant management and tourism organizations.
